Jack and his monkey

One day there was a young boy named Jack. Jack was ten years old and his best friend was his pet monkey. That afternoon when Jack came home for school he gave his mother the newsletter that they received at the end of the day, his mother read it, “Bring your pet to school. Show everyone in your class the talents and unique activities he or she provides,”
In previous years Jack has taught his monkey how to make smoothies, juggle, and walk a tight rope.
When Jack first got his monkey, he named him Fred. Fred immediately started climbing all over him, at this time his parents were still debating if they should let him have a monkey. They were scared about if he was going to fling feces around the house, and if they would constantly have to clean up after him. Jack ended up potty training Fred so now he uses the toilet.

So the next day at school Jack took Fred to school. After everyone else in the class showed off they're pets, Jack took Fred to the front of the classroom. Everything Fred did astonished everyone, even the teacher. Fred did flips, made everyone smoothies and for the end of Fred's presentation they went outside and he rode a pocket bike around the school.

The whole class was astonished and by the end of the presentation Jack didn't feel bad, or nervous about what Fred did. Jack was proud of what Fred proved he could do, and that Monkeys are smarter than they look.

The Children of Frowning woods PART I

“VROOOOOOOM!” Hummed my little brother as he rolled his squeaky toy car against the window of the truck. As my dad’s off-tuned whistle to a Brittney Spears song started I plugged my ears.
What seemed to be hours later the sound of gravel grinding under the truck tire woke me. As I rubbed my eyes I let out a yawn. It was probably about 1 pm, and we had pulled up at a small gas station.
“Where are we?” I said drearily.
“Half an hour away,” stated my dad in a more than cheerful voice.
“From what?” I said in an annoyed voice.
“Frowning Woods.” My mom said, sensing my anger. 45 minutes later we arrived at a small cabin.
“What a crap hole!” I remarked.
“Watch it!” my dad said. As I walked into it, there were 4 rooms and 4 rooms only; a living/kitchen room, a bathroom, and 2 bedrooms.
“DIBS!” yelled my little brother, running to the bedroom marked with frowning smiley face. As I tripped him he let out a squeal.
“And now you don’t.” I chuckled.
“And now you don’t!” my dad grumbled. My little brother frowned at me. “Don’t do that or the children of frowning wood will take you away.” My dad said.
“PFFFFFFFFFFFFFT!” my little brother let out rolling his eyes. That night my parents went to the cabin down the rode for some drinks while I got to watch my little brother. Being annoyed by him I sent him to his room…What happened next is unexplainable except in part II were I explain it.

Mya woke with a pounding head ache.
“Oww my head!” Mya moaned as she sat up. She looked around her and found nothing… except blood everywhere…
“Hello, HELLO!!!!!” She screamed “Where is everybody?!?!?!?!?!” When she got no answer she started to panic. What if their in trouble? What if they need my help?! Mya thought I have to save them!
“Ok now I just need to figure out what to do…” Mya began then paused, “Great! Now I’m talking to myself!”she shouted.
“I have to find food and water before anything else.” So Mya set out to find food and water. While she was out looking for food and water Mya stumbled upon a fruit tree.“Finally!” Mya said. She started towards the water but stopped as soon as she got a good look around. It was a dark place with a lot of overhang. So she didn’t see the crouching tiger, until it was on top of her.

Mitch Our band June3/09

Our band is called Black Sunshine. We have one bassist that’s me one guitarist that’s Jeff and are drummer is Brandon are lead singer is Wade. We have been at this for 3 months. I am the second newest member wade is the newest. Jeff and Brandon have been at it the longest. We have made up one song called screaming while falling. We play at the end of the school year for our first gig. We will be opining for lost cause 34 on June 19. We practice on Tuesdays and Thursday every week. We will play smells like teen spirit, kryptonite and our made up song. Sometimes we will just play whatever like self esteem, sweet dreams, or killing in the name of. its just good fun to pass the time.

Grace's Story

One day there were some kids. Well 6 of them to be exact. Any way these 6 kids were going swimming in Lake Wookie. What they didn’t know was that the lake was haunted. Now let me introduce everybody. There is David who is the funny/annoying one, Tina the smart one, Sasha the girly one, Mya the scared one, Sky the average one and Hugh the tall one. Now to tell the story. The group was on a camping trip. It was about 3 hours to the lake Vancouver but they didn’t care……

“Why is it taking so long?!” David whined. Everybody groaned because David had kept asking this question every 5 minutes.
“Why is it-“David began but was cut off by a shout as the car swerved off the road into the ditch.
“Ewwww!!!” Sasha cried as she pulled herself out of the muck.
“Is every one alright?” Sky called.
“We seem to have run over a spike… I wonder what it’s doing out here?” Tina muttered to herself.
“Right now I want to know where Hugh and Mya are!!” Sky yelled. Everybody froze as someone groaned from inside the car.
“It’s Mya and Hugh!” Sasha cried.
“Are you guys ok?!” Sky asked.
“I think I broke my arm,” Hugh said, “but other then that we is ok.”
“Hey,” Mya said, “where’s David?” Everybody just stared opened mouthed at Mya as they remembered their other friend.
“OMG,” Sasha cried. “David, DAVID, WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?!?!”
“Calm down I’m right here.” David said.
“David!!” Sasha cried.
“David do you remember any thing before the crash?” Tina asked as she examined David’s leg, for it was leaking blood.
“What happened?!” Mya yelled.
“I hate nature.” was all David said.
“Hugh how’s your arm?” Tina asked.
“Well it still hurts if that’s what you’re asking.” Hugh snapped
“At least you can walk!!” David yelled.
“Stop it you two! I mean really we’re stuck out in the middle of nowhere and you two can’t stop fighting for 1 minute , so SHUT UP!” Sky yelled “or I’m gonna make you!”
“Ok so what are we going to do now?” Hugh asked at the same time Mya screamed “We’re all gonna die!!!”
“Not if we’re smart” Sky said “we need to find some way to get help. Does anybody have any service?” Everybody checked their cell phones but it was hopeless…
“Did any thing survive the crash?” Tina asked
“I don’t know, lets take a look” Sasha agreed
“I’ll stay here and look after David” Sky offered.
“But I want to come to! I don’t want to be stuck in a ditch for an hour.” David whined
“No, you have to stay here and make sure your legs OK” Tina told him
“Can I come?” Hugh asked “I can still help.”
“I don’t know-” Tina started but was interrupted by a loud “BANG!” Sasha screamed. That’s when everything went black.

When Hugh came to he saw he was in some sort of dungeon, and everybody was lying around him. At first he tried to wake them up but couldn’t. At first he thought they we’re dead but then Tina groaned.
“What happened?!” Tina almost screamed.
“I don’t know” Hugh replied “I wouldn’t bother trying to wake them up, I think their dead."
“No their just unconscious.” Tina said to Hugh “Hey, where’s Mya?”
“Maybe she escaped and is on her way!” Hugh said happily
“Maybe…” Tina hoped against hope that this was true
